Getting started
From sign up to first invoice in under 10 minutes
Follow these six steps and you'll be quoting and invoicing like a pro before your next job.
Create your account
Sign up with your email and choose a plan. You get 14 days free — no credit card needed. Pick Lite for quoting and invoicing, or Pro for the full toolkit.
Tip: Choose Pro if you need timesheets, appointments, or H&S forms.
Set up your profile
Add your business name, phone number, GST number (if registered), and bank account number. These appear on every quote and invoice you send.
Tip: Your bank account number is how clients know where to pay — don't skip it.
Add your first client
Go to Clients → New client. Add their name, email, and phone. You only need an email address if you want to send them quotes and invoices by email.
Tip: You can add clients on the fly when creating a quote too.
Build your first quote
Go to Quotes → New quote. Select your client, add your line items — labour, materials, callout fees. GST is calculated automatically at 15%. Hit send when you're ready.
Tip: Add a short description on each line item so your client knows exactly what they're paying for.
Your client signs on their phone
Your client gets an email with a link. They tap it, read the quote, and draw their signature on screen. No login needed. You get notified when they sign.
Tip: No printer, no paper, no chasing. It all happens on their phone.
Convert to invoice and get paid
Once the job is done, open the signed quote and tap "Create invoice". One tap generates the invoice with all the same details. Send it to your client and they'll see your bank account details to pay into.
Tip: Mark the invoice as paid once the money lands in your account.
