Terms of Service

1. About JobTap

JobTap is a software service operated from Wānaka, New Zealand. It provides quoting and invoicing tools for sole traders and small trade businesses in New Zealand. By using JobTap you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when signing up. You must be 18 or over to use JobTap.

3. Subscription and payment

JobTap charges $19 NZD per month plus GST after the 30 day free trial. Payments are processed via Stripe. You can cancel at any time. No refunds are provided for partial months.

4. Your data

You own all data you enter into JobTap including client information, quotes, and invoices. We store your data securely and do not sell it to third parties. If you close your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days upon request.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use JobTap for unlawful purposes, to send spam, or to misrepresent your identity to clients. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach these terms.

6. Limitation of liability

JobTap is provided as-is. We are not liable for any loss of income, client disputes, or tax issues arising from use of the platform. JobTap does not provide accounting, legal, or tax advice. Please consult a professional for those matters.

7. GST

JobTap calculates GST at 15% as required by New Zealand law. You are responsible for ensuring your GST number is correct and that you are registered with Inland Revenue if required.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect.
